To Know Him and to Make Him Known

New Life is not the right church for many. We are truly serious about following as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ . . . without traditional religiosity on the one hand or indulgent culturalism on the other. We have found a REAL relationship with the Father whom Jesus continues to reveal to us. We also have found encouraging, healing, safe relationships with one another rooted in the love of Christ. We are not a Sunday-go-to-meeting church. We value commitment, relationships, and love for the Father and his children.

We are learning to Know Him and to Make Him Known. It's like being in a school of love--the love of God transforming us, healing us through Christian Community. We belong to Him and are THERE FOR each other. Though we live spread throughout the community, we work, play, shop, eat, and laugh together. We study and learn the Word of God. We listen to Christ who said "My sheep HEAR MY VOICE and they will not follow another." Religion led us to Christ, but we now have gone beyond religion into the freedom of a deeper RELATIONSHIP with Him and one another. Going deeper is not easy. We sometimes feel like relationships are too hard to maintain, until we remember that Christ died and rose so that he could heal us. He grafted us into God's Family and lives to empower those relationships. 

So we are small and are learning to revel in that strength. "Small but powerful" is something you'll hear at New Life. And it's true. Perhaps this kind of community is just what you need.

Now that we have come to KNOW HIM and his love, we are MAKING HIM KNOWN to our friends, families, co-workers, fellow students, and our communities. We are following Christ. We follow Him, not people (though many in our midst model Him and His love). The Holy Spirit is leading us into all truth TOGETHER--a family of families here in Concord, NH. growing deeper in love with Him and each other. So that we will love each other in the same way that Christ loves us. This is the source of the healing present at New Life--the Good News being lived out TOGETHER.

What makes our church different from all the others? We believe that each local church has been given its own special assignment from the Father. Ours is threefold:

1. Helping people into a deeper relationship with God. This means turning to His Healing, our Wholeness, and the Freedom to become all that we can become as we meet him on His terms.

2. Helping people in their relationships with others. This involves strengthening marriages and helping families in their desire to raise children who can make it through this complex age we live in. What we are leaning about God affects the way we treat one another, raise our children, and walk through life together. We do this by making relationships a top priority.

3. Including those whom God is Calling. We have prayed that God will draw to Himself, through our daily relationships, those with whom he wants to share His abundant life. Their hearts will know that He is the one drawing them. They are ready for change. They want to get off their own track, leading to death, and get on His--which leads to Life.
